As the 2023 NFL Draft approached, I wanted to try and elevate our usual static jersey swaps and make the swap within a video highlight. A plugin within After Effects called “Lockdown” had gotten popular around this time so I wanted to take this opportunity to use it. I had seen some instances of these jersey swaps on slow motion highlights, but I wanted to challenge myself to make it on a more natural video. This video was created along with alternate versions of two other players to be published when the number one draft pick was announced.
